Training and Support

Our training is tailored to the volunteer role you choose and the time you have available. We use a blended learning approach meaning a range of techniques are used to help you learn. This includes in-house training sessions delivered in groups and in a one-one format; online interative webinars; and an e-learning programme which can be done in our office or at home.

There will be plenty of opportunities throughout your training for you to learn from current team members here at CAP; including our team of supervisors, our existing telephone advisers and digital chat volunteers, and experienced volunteers in support roles. This should help you to get a good grasp of the role you are undertaking and any challenges you may face, as well as the opportunity to discuss your learning needs further and ask any questions.
