Survey for Legacy claimants moving to Universal Credit
Citizens Advice is doing some research to understand people’s experiences of moving from legacy benefits (such as Employment and Support Allowance, Jobseekers Allowance, Income Support, Housing Benefit, and Working and Child Tax Credits) onto Universal Credit. We want to understand more about how people will adjust to claiming Universal Credit and managing their claim.
We would like to hear from people who are preparing to move from their existing benefits to Universal Credit, people who were previously claiming other benefits and have recently started a Universal Credit claim, and people who were previously claiming other benefits and have submitted their Universal Credit claim, but have not yet received their first Universal Credit payment.
The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. Participation is entirely voluntary and you can stop and withdraw at any time. Click here to take part in the survey.
We will use the answers you give about your situation and how it affects you to build an understanding of the challenges and concerns people face when moving over to Universal Credit.
All responses to the survey are anonymous and confidential. Your response to this survey will be stored securely on our internal systems for up to 3 months, but anonymised data will be kept for up to 5 years. Your information will only be kept for as long as we need it.
